Carrie is a Graduate Research Assistant - Data Abstractor at the Texas Center for Disability Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. She has a Bachelor's of Science in Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently receiving her Master's of Science in Social Work from UT Austin. She is passionate about increasing mental health support for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In her free time, Carrie enjoys taking metal engraving and jewelry making classes at Austin Community College.
